Winter Activities

Maine Handicapped Skiing offers a variety of adaptive winter activities to adults and children with physical disabilities all free of charge.

We offer lessons in downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing from early January through March at four ski resorts. A full day lesson is 9 am-3 pm and 1/2 day lessons are available from 9 am-11:30 am or 12:30 pm-3 pm.

Participants must meet the Guidelines for Participation and complete the required paperwork in order to take lessons.

Cross country skiing and snowshoeing on select days throughout season

In support of Maine Handicapped Skiing all four ski resorts provide daily lift/trail passes free of charge to our participants and volunteers.
